- He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
- The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. - Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

- Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- It is a faithful saying:
For if we be dead with him,
we shall also live with him. - And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
- For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
- Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled. - Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
- Though an host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident. - He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
- And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
- Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.
- These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
- Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
- Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. - The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.Next verse!With image
