Chinese (traditional)- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved;
for you are my praise. - You shall not make gods of silver alongside me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and succeed in the thing for which I sent it. - For it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall give praise to God.” - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - I shall walk at liberty,
for I have sought your precepts. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long. - Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel.
- Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
- But for you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
- He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken. - Thus you shall keep my commandments and observe them: I am the Lord.
- You shall keep my sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
- For the Lord loves justice;
he will not forsake his faithful ones.
The righteous shall be kept safe forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall never be shaken. - Come now, let us argue it out,
says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be like snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool. - I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.
- I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - As they came from their mother's womb, so they shall go again, naked as they came; they shall take nothing for their toil, which they may carry away with their hands.
- But if the wicked turn away from all their sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is lawful and right, they shall surely live; they shall not die.
- Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
- Six days shall work be done; but the seventh day is a sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no work: it is a sabbath to the Lord throughout your settlements.
- I keep the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be charged with any related duty. He shall be free at home one year, to be happy with the wife whom he has married.With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful.Next verse!With image
