- This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
- For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved.Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
