The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives.

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
