Bible Verses about 'Shows'

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”
A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.A fool spurns a parent’s discipline, but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.
He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.
A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life, but whoever shows contempt for their ways will die.
He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass.Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.
