- Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;

- Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing at all during those days, and when they were over, he was famished.
- And you will say in that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
call on his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
- You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with glad cries of deliverance. Selah - You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand has supported me;
your help has made me great.
You gave me a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip. - Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.
- May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him. - If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- In you, O Lord, I seek refuge;
do not let me ever be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me. - Lead me in your truth, and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all day long. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved;
for you are my praise. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your good spirit lead me
on a level path. - Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.
