- Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground. - But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. - Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. - The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
- You make your saving help my shield,
and your right hand sustains me;
your help has made me great.
You provide a broad path for my feet,
so that my ankles do not give way. - Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me. - My times are in your hands;
deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
from those who pursue me. - When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place. - The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters. - Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me. - For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
- Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”
- Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident. - I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- But I have been the Lord your God
ever since you came out of Egypt.
You shall acknowledge no God but me,
no Savior except me. - I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
- I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
- You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. - Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- Teach me your way, Lord,
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name. - Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin. - This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.” Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.Next verse!With image
