- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
- Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
- According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
- Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - He healeth the broken in heart,
and bindeth up their wounds. - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
- He sent his word, and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions. - Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
- The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
- Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
- Children's children are the crown of old men;
and the glory of children are their fathers. - But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- For they got not the land in possession by their own sword,
neither did their own arm save them:
but thy right hand, and thine arm,
and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
- But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
- And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
- But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
- Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
- He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us;
he will subdue our iniquities;
and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.Next verse!With image
