What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.” sin law desires

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16	So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. Leviticus 26:3-4	If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you the seasonal rains. So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. Hebrews 4:9-10	So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. sabbath rest work
My son, if your heart is wise, my heart too will be glad. Proverbs 23:15	My child, if your heart is wise, my own heart will rejoice! wisdom heart joy
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17	So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. faith evangelism listening
Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:8	That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. sin dependence desires
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. Romans 14:8	If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. death life
And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23	Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” obedience crucifixion

Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.

So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father.
