- Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord,
We have waited for You eagerly;
Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. - And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.
- Let Your favor, Lord, be upon us,
Just as we have waited for You. - But as for you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that your fasting will not be noticed by people but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
- And you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.
- Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to dishonest gain. - Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has looked after me. - We have sinned, we have done wrong, and acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances.
- May He grant you your heart’s desire
And fulfill your whole plan! - But as for me, I will sing of Your strength;
Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning,
For You have been my refuge
And a place of refuge on the day of my distress. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight. - Because Your favor is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - I have chosen the faithful way;
I have placed Your judgments before me. - Lord, You are my God;
I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name;
For You have worked wonders,
Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness. - Know that wisdom is the same for your soul;
If you find it, then there will be a future,
And your hope will not be cut off. - I have treasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You. - Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David says: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I am going to heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.”’
- When my anxious thoughts multiply within me,
Your comfort delights my soul. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have revived me. - Do not turn to the right or to the left;
Turn your foot from evil. - I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years approach when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”.
- Those who love Your Law have great peace,
And nothing causes them to stumble. - Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For from it flow the springs of life.
