- Yes, in the way of Your judgments,
O Lord, we have waited for You;
The desire of our soul is for Your name
And for the remembrance of You. - Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
- Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
- Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness. - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - But I have trusted in Your mercy;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has dealt bountifully with me. - We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.
- May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose. - But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. - Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - I have chosen the way of truth;
Your judgments I have laid before me. - O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. - So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul;
If you have found it, there is a prospect,
And your hope will not be cut off. - Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You. - Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.”’
- In the multitude of my anxieties within me,
Your comforts delight my soul. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil. - I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth,
Before the difficult days come,
And the years draw near when you say,
“I have no pleasure in them” - Great peace have those who love Your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble. - Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
