    and you will find the right way to go.
  • Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
    and gave him the name above all other names,
    that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
    in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
  • And every day, in the Temple and from house to house, they continued to teach and preach this message: “Jesus is the Messiah.”
  • But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say,
    ‘People do not live by bread alone,
    but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
  • Everyone enjoys a fitting reply;
    it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time!
  • No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
  • Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
  • He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
  • Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.
  • Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
  • Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor;
    only fools insist on quarreling.
  • The very essence of your words is truth;
    all your just regulations will stand forever.
  • For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
  • In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.
  • Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry.
  • All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.
  • Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.”
  • Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.
  • May he grant your heart’s desires
    and make all your plans succeed.
  • Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.
  • In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable.
  • But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.”
  • But when I am afraid,
    I will put my trust in you.
  • Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.

And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.
