- But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting for those who fear Him,
And His justice to the children’s children,
To those who keep His covenant
And remember His precepts, so as to do them. - “Return to Me,” declares the Lord of armies, “that I may return to you,” says the Lord of armies.
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
- Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
- So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.
- Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

- In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
- I hurried and did not delay
To keep Your commandments. - So teach us to number our days,
That we may present to You a heart of wisdom. - Urge slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative, not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.
- For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
- Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.
- So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- So, having obtained help from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, stating nothing but what the Prophets and Moses said was going to take place, as to whether the Christ was to suffer, and whether, as first from the resurrection of the dead, He would proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
- But Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
- For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You. - For Your goodness is great to the heavens
And Your truth to the clouds. - For it is written:
“As I live, says the Lord, to Me every knee will bow,
And every tongue will give praise to God.” - Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.”
- And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?
- Jesus said to him, “If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
- “If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name,” says the Lord of armies, “then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.”
- Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work deserves.
