- My son, if your heart is wise,
my heart too will be glad. - For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

- Judge not, that you be not judged.

- When words are many, transgression is not lacking,
but whoever restrains his lips is prudent. - By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised.
- Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness
will find life, righteousness, and honor. - Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
- A rich man's wealth is his strong city,
and like a high wall in his imagination. - And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’
- For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.
- Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.
- For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
- We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
- Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
