Chinese (traditional)- So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
- If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?
- Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.
- Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.
- Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.
- When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
- But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a prophecy is from the Lord?’ If the prophet speaks in the Lord’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the Lord did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared.
- There are “friends” who destroy each other,
but a real friend sticks closer than a brother. - Hatred stirs up quarrels,
but love makes up for all offenses. - Evil people get rich for the moment,
but the reward of the godly will last. - True humility and fear of the Lord
lead to riches, honor, and long life. - Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
- And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.
- A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
- Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.
- Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
- When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
- Those who love your instructions have great peace
and do not stumble. - There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself.
- Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.
- Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline. - Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! When the Gentiles sin, they will be destroyed, even though they never had God’s written law. And the Jews, who do have God’s law, will be judged by that law when they fail to obey it. But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.Next verse! With image
