- But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- For it is you who light my lamp;
the Lord my God lightens my darkness. - Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - Put away from you crooked speech,
and put devious talk far from you. - Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established. - Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it. - Even to your old age I am he,
and to gray hairs I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
- He will again have compassion on us;
he will tread our iniquities underfoot.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea. - So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all iniquity;
accept what is good,
and we will pay with bulls
the vows of our lips.” - The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. - Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.
- No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
- Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
- If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.

- Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. - For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
- If you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
- Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
- The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
- And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
