Chinese (traditional)- Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble. - Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
- Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
- Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
- Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
- You are altogether beautiful, my love;
there is no flaw in you. - By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
- But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
- For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
- For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you.
- And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
- And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
- Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
- May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
- Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits. - Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
- Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
- Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
- The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.Next verse!With image
