- Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - The desire of a man is his kindness:
and a poor man is better than a liar. - But I have trusted in thy mercy;
my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord,
because he hath dealt bountifully with me. - Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee. - The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. - For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. - Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
- But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - Who is a God like unto thee,
that pardoneth iniquity,
and passeth by the transgression
of the remnant of his heritage?
he retaineth not his anger for ever,
because he delighteth in mercy.
Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.Next verse!With image
