However, the face of the Lord
is set against those who do evil. - He will not permit your foot to stumble;
he who guards you will not fall asleep. - Jesus replied,
“My kingdom does not belong to this world.
If my kingdom did belong to this world,
my followers would have fought
to prevent me from being handed over to the Jews.
The fact is that my kingdom is not here.” - Persevere in prayer, with alert minds and thankful hearts.
- Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed and broke them and gave them to the disciples to distribute among the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Then they gathered up what was left over—twelve baskets of fragments.
