Chinese (traditional)- Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
- Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
- What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
- What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him? - What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
- For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
- So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
- The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable:
but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
- He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. - Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
- Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
- What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
- But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
- And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
- When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
- For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
- What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
- Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.Next verse! With image
