I will show how holy my great name is—the name on which you brought shame among the nations. And when I reveal my holiness through you before their very eyes, says the Sovereign Lord, then the nations will know that I am the Lord. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Ecclesiastes 4:10	For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! relationships friendship neighbor
When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. Hebrews 1:3	He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life. This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8	Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit. trust blessing fruitfulness
But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.
