- He who guards his mouth makes his life secure,
but one who talks excessively ensures his own downfall. - For they said to you, “In the final age there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly passions.” It is these people who create divisions, who follow their natural instincts and do not possess the Spirit.

and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. - When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”
- Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
- I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
- But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
- Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.
- And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.
- To those who seek after glory and honor and immortality by persevering in good works, he will grant eternal life.
- Dear children,
you are from God
and you have conquered them,
for the one who is in you is greater
than the one who is in the world. - However, to those who did accept him
and who believed in his name
he granted the power to become children of God. - Give to everyone who begs from you, and do not demand the return of what is yours from the one who has taken it.
- Bless those who persecute you; bless them and do not curse them.
- The future bodes well for him
who is generous in helping those in need
and who conducts his affairs with justice. - I then heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
