Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. 1 Timothy 6:17	As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. money joy materialism
So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord! Psalm 31:24	Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord! hope encouragement heart
Deceit fills hearts that are plotting evil; joy fills hearts that are planning peace! Proverbs 12:20	Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan peace have joy. evil joy peace
Who has done such mighty deeds, summoning each new generation from the beginning of time? It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last. I alone am he. Isaiah 41:4	Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he. God strength
People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray. Proverbs 10:17	Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray. obedience life listening

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Proverbs 31:8	Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. speaking weakness
In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away! Luke 15:7	Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. conversion repentance joy
As the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.” When people commend themselves, it doesn’t count for much. The important thing is for the Lord to commend them. 2 Corinthians 10:17-18	“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. reliability pride
He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Psalm 121:3	He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. trust reliability dependence
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12	Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. reward temptation life
For I assisted the poor in their need and the orphans who required help. I helped those without hope, and they blessed me. And I caused the widows’ hearts to sing for joy. How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. Psalm 31:19	Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind! trust fear blessing
