| Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. | Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. |
| Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be joyful. | He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. |
| Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. | Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! |
| But the one who endures to the end will be saved. | But he who endures to the end shall be saved. |
| Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything. | He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction. |
| And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. | And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. |
| God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. | Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. |
| Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. | Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. |

| But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! | But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. |
| But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. | You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. |
| People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray. | He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray. |
| Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. | Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. |
| Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. | Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. |
| Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. | And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. |
| Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. | Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah |
| Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them. | He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. |
| To acquire wisdom is to love yourself; people who cherish understanding will prosper. | He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. |
| But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. | The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. |
| Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back. | Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. |
| Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. | He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. |
