Whoever observes the commandments will live, but the one who scorns them will die.Keep the commandments and keep your life; despising them leads to death.
God abides in anyone who acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, and that person abides in God.All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe in him already stands condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but he who mingles with fools will suffer harm.Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.
He said to them in reply, “Anyone who has two coats must share with the person who has none, and whoever has food must do likewise.”John replied, “If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry.”
As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”
Lying lips conceal hatred, and anyone who slanders another is a fool.Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.
But whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty. The water that I will give him will become a spring of water within him welling up to eternal life.But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.
Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, ‘Streams of living water shall flow from within him.’Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’
Whoever gains wisdom loves his own soul; one who cherishes understanding will prosper.To acquire wisdom is to love yourself; people who cherish understanding will prosper.
And the world with all its enticements is passing away, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.
Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be accomplished for him.I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so whoever feeds upon me will live because of me.I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.
Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent, but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent.Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.
This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.
Therefore, you have no excuse, whoever you may be, when you pass judgment on others. For in judging others you condemn yourself, since you are doing the same things.You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.
However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God.But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.
Jesus then said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, even though he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
The one who pays heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be joyful.
We have come to know and to believe in the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him.We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
In love there is no fear; indeed, perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not yet achieved perfection in love.Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.
I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing.Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which I will offer so the world may live, is my flesh.
Indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.
