- The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

- Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
- You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus.
- Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.
- Knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.
- But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.
- Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
- May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
- The blessing of the Lord makes rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
as you have said. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- But I with the voice of thanksgiving
will sacrifice to you;
what I have vowed I will pay.
Salvation belongs to the Lord! - Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.

I will counsel you with my eye upon you. - For the customs of the peoples are vanity.
A tree from the forest is cut down
and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman.
They decorate it with silver and gold;
they fasten it with hammer and nails
so that it cannot move.
Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field,
and they cannot speak;
they have to be carried,
for they cannot walk.
Do not be afraid of them,
for they cannot do evil,
neither is it in them to do good. - So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
