Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Wrongdoing'
- Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
- Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered. - Direct my footsteps according to your word;
let no sin rule over me. - Sin is not ended by multiplying words,
but the prudent hold their tongues. - Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.
- Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.
- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
- Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy. - Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
- As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more. - Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper,
but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. - In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.
- I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you. - You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. - Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave the guilt of my sin. - But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed. - That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
- Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin. - But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
- Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good. - For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.
Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed;
the offspring of the wicked will perish. - Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
