Chinese (traditional)- You shall keep my sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
- I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,
my God, my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples. - O taste and see that the Lord is good;
happy are those who take refuge in him. - For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. - When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears,
and rescues them from all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted,
and saves the crushed in spirit. - Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved. - The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord rescues them from them all. - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be known in all the earth. - Some take pride in chariots, and some in horses,
but our pride is in the name of the Lord our God. - He loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord. - And the Lord God made garments of skins for the man and for his wife, and clothed them.
- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
but those who act faithfully are his delight. - I keep the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. - I the Lord am your God; follow my statutes, and be careful to observe my ordinances, and hallow my sabbaths that they may be a sign between me and you, so that you may know that I the Lord am your God.
- House and wealth are inherited from parents,
but a prudent wife is from the Lord. - The Lord is slow to anger but great in power,
and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty.
His way is in whirlwind and storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet. - So now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? Only to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord your God and his decrees that I am commanding you today, for your own well-being.
- I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever. - Praise the Lord!
Happy are those who fear the Lord,
who greatly delight in his commandments. - I will both lie down and sleep in peace;
for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety. - For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover them with favor as with a shield.
A fool despises a parent's instruction,
but the one who heeds admonition is prudent.
