You have called me into your kingdom (2/4)

  • Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
    the Lord answered me and set me free.
  • Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.
  • I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
  • My lips will shout for joy,
    when I sing praises to you;
    my soul also, which you have redeemed.
  • Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
  • And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
  • I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
  • Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
  • But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
  • Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.
  • Blessed are the peacemakers,
    for they shall be called sons of God.
  • But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
  • For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
  • I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
  • O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
    You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
    you discern my thoughts from afar.
  • But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
  • Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
  • To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’
  • Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
  • You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.
  • And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.
  • Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
  • I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
  • And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
