- You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness. - Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Keep straight the path of your feet,
and all your ways will be sure. - My child, keep your father's commandment,
and do not forsake your mother's teaching. - Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
- In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and your renown
are the soul's desire. - For your steadfast love is as high as the heavens;
your faithfulness extends to the clouds. - Honor the Lord with your substance
and with the first fruits of all your produce. - But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
- Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.
- Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
- Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly.
- Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
It will be a healing for your flesh
and a refreshment for your body. - Pray then in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
- The sum of your word is truth;
and every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. - Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.
- Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.” But they did not hear or heed me, says the Lord.
- So now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? Only to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord your God and his decrees that I am commanding you today, for your own well-being.
- Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your good spirit lead me
on a level path.
Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.Next verse!With image
