- But now, O Lord,
You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our potter;

And the glory of children is their father. - For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.
- Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

- Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
- Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart! - But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head. - But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
- You are all fair, my love,
And there is no spot in you. - For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
- Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. - By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
- The words of a talebearer are like tasty trifles,
And they go down into the inmost body. - And the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.
- Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. - You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
- The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.” - Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
