- He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
- The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - The fear of man bringeth a snare:
but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. - Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. - Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight. - Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
- Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. - Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. - So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth. - And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - I have set the Lord always before me:
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. - Better is little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble therewith. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.Next verse!With image
