Chinese (traditional)- The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- The blessing of the Lord brings wealth,
without painful toil for it. - Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. - Humility is the fear of the Lord;
its wages are riches and honor and life. - Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
- I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.” - Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
- I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
- Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord. - Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. - A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love. - Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord. - He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord. - Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops. - The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
- They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
- For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory. - Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. - Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord,
and humility comes before honor.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.Next verse!With image
