- There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
- Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
- Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
- Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
- Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. - And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring.
- But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
- Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts:
all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. - Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
- Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
- Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
- For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
- Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.Next verse! With image
