- Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

- The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
- Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
- I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears.
