- For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;

teach me thy paths. - Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,

thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled. - These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
- I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
- Better is a little with righteousness
than great revenues without right. - Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
