- Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Pomegranate, palm, and apple—

surely, joy withers away

- He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- The saying is sure:
If we have died with him, we will also live with him. - Honor the Lord with your substance
and with the first fruits of all your produce. - With my whole heart I seek you;
do not let me stray from your commandments. - Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
- With the Lord on my side I do not fear.
What can mortals do to me? - He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
