- And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

night after night they reveal knowledge. - Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.

- In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
- To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
