He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight—something the law of Moses could never do.Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive. Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.Whoever covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends.
Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.”And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love.Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love.
For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.
Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
“Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.And rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.

But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ.But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.
