- Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.

- The liberal soul shall be made fat:

- A wise son maketh a glad father:
but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. - I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
- The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
- Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

- The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:

the Lord loveth the righteous. - How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,
that publisheth peace;
that bringeth good tidings of good,
that publisheth salvation;
that saith unto Zion,
Thy God reigneth! - Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
- And I will strengthen the house of Judah,
and I will save the house of Joseph,
and I will bring them again to place them;
for I have mercy upon them:
and they shall be as though I had not cast them off:
for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them. - Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
- The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
