- Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
- O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is. - Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

and renew a right spirit within me. - For thou wilt light my candle:
the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

- I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let thy glory be above all the earth. - Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens:
and thy glory above all the earth. - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.

nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.Next verse!With image
