Chinese (traditional)- For his anger is but for a moment;
his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may linger for the night,
but joy comes with the morning. - O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
- The Rock, his work is perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God, without deceit,
just and upright is he. - In fulfillment of his own purpose he gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would become a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - In my distress I called upon the Lord;
to my God I cried for help.
From his temple he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears. - Those who guard their mouths preserve their lives;
those who open wide their lips come to ruin. - Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds —
his name is the Lord—
be exultant before him.
Father of orphans and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. - But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.
- For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
- Happy is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways. - He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name. - And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
- He sent out his word and healed them,
and delivered them from destruction. - I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - Happy are those who keep his decrees,
who seek him with their whole heart. - The Lord your God you shall follow, him alone you shall fear, his commandments you shall keep, his voice you shall obey, him you shall serve, and to him you shall hold fast.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. - For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;
he adorns the humble with victory. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
his greatness is unsearchable. - For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry.So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and succeed in the thing for which I sent it. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.Next verse!With image
