I thank god (2/4)

  • For I, the Lord, am your God
    and I grasp your right hand.
    It is I who say to you,
    Do not fear; I will help you.
  • In the beginning was the Word,
    and the Word was with God,
    and the Word was God.
  • Why are you so disheartened, O my soul?
    Why do you sigh within me?
    Place your hope in God;
    for I will once again praise him,
    my Savior and my God.
  • Be still and acknowledge that I am God,
    exalted among the nations,
    exalted on the earth.
  • For nothing will be impossible for God.
  • For there is one God,
    and there is one mediator between God and man,
    Christ Jesus, himself a man.
  • I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything impossible for me to accomplish?
  • Do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be afraid, for I am your God.
    I will strengthen you and give you help,
    I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
  • O God, you are my God,
    for whom I have been searching earnestly.
    My soul yearns for you
    and my body thirsts for you,
    like the earth when it is parched,
    arid and without water.
  • Jesus then said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”
  • Does it now appear to you that I am trying to gain the approval of human beings rather than the approval of God? Am I seeking to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
  • My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
    a contrite and humble heart, O God,
    you will not spurn.
  • I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.
  • I will strengthen the house of Judah,
    and I will save the house of Joseph.
    I will bring them back
    because I have taken pity on them,
    and they will be
    as though I had never cast them off;
    for I am the Lord, their God,
    and I will answer them.
  • If someone says, “I love God,”
    but at the same time hates his brother,
    he is a liar.
    For whoever does not love the brother
    whom he has seen
    cannot love God whom he has not seen.
  • No one has ever seen God,
    but if we love one another,
    God abides in us,
    and his love is made complete in us.
  • God gave the midwives numerous families because they had feared God.
  • Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.
  • Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”
  • Therefore, brethren, I implore you by the mercies of God to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God—a spiritual act of worship.
  • My deliverance and my glory depend on God;
    he is my mighty rock and my refuge.
  • In that way, I can come to you in joy, if God so wills, and be refreshed together with you.
  • If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.
  • To do your will, O God, is my delight;
    your law is in my heart.
  • God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.

While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.

then you will know my Father also.
