- The mind of a person plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps. - For this is what the Lord says to the house of Israel:
“Seek Me so that you may live.” - I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have nothing good besides You.” - The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord
Are riches, honor, and life. - For one who finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord. - For the word of the Lord is right,
And all His work is done in faithfulness. - Bless the Lord, my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name. - So you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the Lord.
- Better is the little of the righteous
Than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
But the Lord sustains the righteous. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden,
The God who is our salvation. Selah - “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I wait for Him.” - When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
- Many plans are in a person’s heart,
But the advice of the Lord will stand. - For the Lord is our judge,
The Lord is our lawgiver,
The Lord is our king;
He will save us. - Let’s examine and search out our ways,
And let’s return to the Lord. - Commit your works to the Lord,
And your plans will be established. - I sought the Lord and He answered me,
And rescued me from all my fears. - Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
Who walk in the Law of the Lord. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who wait for the Lord. - You shall keep My Sabbaths and revere My sanctuary; I am the Lord.
- Come, let’s worship and bow down,
Let’s kneel before the Lord our Maker. - Every person’s way is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord examines the hearts. - The Lord is near to all who call on Him,
To all who call on Him in truth.
