For everyone born of God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith. 1 John 5:4	For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. faith God overcoming
No one has ever seen God. It is the only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, who has made him known. John 1:18	No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us. Jesus Father nearness
However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God. John 1:12	But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. faith Father children
Be on your guard that you do not lose what we have worked to accomplish so that you will receive your reward in full. 2 John 1:8	Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward. reward self-control work
And thus we can have confidence in him that if we ask anything that is in accordance with his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14	And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. trust prayer listening

And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask him, we may be sure that all we ask of him will be ours. 1 John 5:15	And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for. trust prayer listening

If we claim that we have fellowship with him while we continue to live in darkness, we are lying and do not live in the truth. 1 John 1:6	So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. sin honesty truth

A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in abundance. John 10:10	The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. salvation life

This is what love is: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
