- His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and trustworthy slave; you have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’
- And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations; and then the end will come.
- Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. So they are without excuse.
- And every tongue should confess

- My lips will shout for joy
when I sing praises to you;

it imparts understanding to the simple. - O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - Thus he has given us, through these things, his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of lust, and may become participants of the divine nature.
- For your steadfast love is as high as the heavens;
your faithfulness extends to the clouds. - O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever. - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry. - You show me the path of life.
In your presence there is fullness of joy;
in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - To do righteousness and justice
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?
- Because I delivered the poor who cried,
and the orphan who had no helper.
The blessing of the wretched came upon me,
and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. - Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
- To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.
For his anger is but for a moment;
his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may linger for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.O Lord, all my longing is known to you;
