- It is honorable to avoid strife,

- When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it, for God has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill the vow you have made.

and then your ways will be sure. - Return, rebel Israel, says the Lord.
I will not look upon you in anger.
For I am merciful, says the Lord;
my wrath will not continue forever. - Finally, all of you should be united in spirit, sympathetic, filled with love for one another, compassionate, and humble.
- Whoever gains wisdom loves his own soul;
one who cherishes understanding will prosper. - Do not be lacking in zeal, but serve the Lord with spiritual fervor.
- You have given me the shield of your salvation;
your right hand sustains me,
and your goodness makes me great.
You broadened the path beneath me
so that my feet have never stumbled. - However, the Lord is faithful. He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
