- Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
- Ponder the path of your feet;
then all your ways will be sure. - Repent and turn from all your transgressions, lest iniquity be your ruin.
- Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
- Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth. - Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
- This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. - And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool. - Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
- Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
- Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;
whoever is discerning, let him know them;
for the ways of the Lord are right,
and the upright walk in them,
but transgressors stumble in them. - And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
- Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.
- And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
- Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
unite my heart to fear your name. - On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
- The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him.
- And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
