Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. - Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.
- Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit. - Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
- I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart. - Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.” - For
“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber. - May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose. - “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
- My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
- Salvation belongs to the Lord.
Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah - Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
- In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth. - But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
- Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established. - Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. - For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens,
And Your truth unto the clouds.
