- So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
- But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble. - Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness. - Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases. - Yet I am the Lord your God
Ever since the land of Egypt,
And you shall know no God but Me;
For there is no savior besides Me. - Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
- Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- “For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. - But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
- Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life. - No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
- Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation. - Arise, O Lord!
O God, lift up Your hand!
Do not forget the humble. - Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God. - God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him. - And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.
- God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. - There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
- Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God. - I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
